Fungi has been fortunate to work with one of northern Michigan’s top producers of fine foods. In our initial talks with American Spoon, we found out that they already got a ton of traffic each month due to various other marketing initiatives they have going through their bricks and mortar locations, catalog distribution, and primarily print advertising channels. Email was also a great driver for sales, but none of their emails were automated.
From deeper analysis we gleaned that some automated communications including remarketing and marketing automation for potential customers who had abandoned their carts (see sample abandoned cart email below) would be the best low hanging fruit. The results? Within the first few months of management, we had produced thousands of dollars of new product revenue from these two channels alone!
