In addition to being members of Flywheel Coworking, Fungi has had a long-term relationship assisting them with various website projects over the last year. So when their team reached out to us earlier this year wanting to make some more holistic updates to their website, we were excited for the opportunity. Working primarily with Peter and Andrea from the Flywheel team, we first did a deep dive into the types of ideal buyers they were trying to attract. The old site (seen below) was more focused primarily on coworking, which is one of their core business offerings, but didn’t convey the full spectrum of services they provide to other audiences (start-ups and corporations looking to host off-site events).
The end result of our collaboration was a simplification of the navigation, complete homepage redesign, and updates to core sections including the blog and member pages. We also moved them over to Fungi’s high speed hosting and maintenance plan, which means the site loads roughly 2x as fast as it used to and includes other features like SSL, daily backups, and an hour of updates each month as needed. Fungi is thrilled with the new, more intuitive, look and feel and excited to be working on a handful of new Flywheel projects coming down the pipeline this fall.
