Interactive Home Campaign to Promote Energy Efficiency
North Carolina’s Electric Cooperatives
Challenge
Local co-op utilities needed a way to educate members about energy-saving habits to help them reduce usage during seasonal energy spikes.
Strategy
We built and promoted an interactive digital experience with data tracking and campaign testing across multiple ad platforms.
Outcome
34M+ impressions, 2.72% CTR, 30+% engagement rates, and measurable increases in member trust and awareness.
PROBLEM
Background: Members of North Carolina’s 26 electric co-ops face higher energy demand during extreme winter and summer conditions, leading to increased costs.
The Challenge: NCEC needed a more engaging and effective way to educate members on how to save energy while positioning their local electric co-ops as a trusted energy partner rather than just some other utility.
