The Challenge

The company had redesigned their website years ago, but hadn’t put as much effort into building an online tool that would help engage prospective customers or assist the sales team in pitches. Their needs had expanded into wanting to promote drill servicing as well as used equipment, and to highlight their top brands. Finally, when someone searched for IDE or their top drilling products, the site was nowhere to be found online. 

The Solution

Fungi began the process of redesigning the website by identifying how specifically the team was going to use the site including what the top level categories should be. The old site was built using a standard ‘about’, ‘services’, ‘contact us’-style navigation, which made the user do more work than was necessary. The new navigation focused more on highlighting equipment and support and the design was a complete transformation from the old simplified look and feel. We also collaborated with their team on what top keywords / searches would be driving the most qualified buyer to the website and optimized each page to show up higher in search engines. 

The Results

Within 2 months of launch, and with no additional work done to the website (outside of some small fixes / maintenance), the new website was bringing in hundreds of new visitors and nearly a dozen leads. A majority of the visitors are coming in through organic searches for some of their top keywords. With minimal post-launch projects in the works, the company has gone from virtually no visibility to significant gains for their digital sales and marketing performance.
