PROBLEM
Background: ZAQ began as a wholesale-only aromatherapy brand. With strong distribution, they had the potential to reach a larger audience, but lacked the digital infrastructure to support direct-to-consumer sales.
The Challenge: Fungi helped ZAQ expand into ecommerce, but converting one-time buyers into long-term customers and nurturing wholesale signups into recurring orders required strategic automation.
SOLUTION
We implemented a full-scale automation framework, including:
- A 12-part welcome series for new retail customers
- A 6-part wholesale email sequence
- Abandoned cart recovery (3 emails)
- Long-term retention emails at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months post-purchase
- Review request campaigns and holiday promotions
- Exit-intent popups to capture first-time visitors and build the list
All automation flows were designed to reinforce brand value, offer helpful content, and increase lifetime value.
